Ligue 1: Lionel Messi expected to make PSG debut on 21st Aug against Brest
Lionel Messi was introduced to the Paris St-Germain fans before Saturday’s win over 10-man Strasbourg. Messi watched from the stand as Mauricio Pochettino’s side made it two Ligue 1 wins from two as they defeated Stausbourg 4-2.
“As for when we might see Leo Messi in action, it is his second day of training after a month since he played the last game at the Copa America,” said manager Pochettino. “We will take things step by step, get to know each other, and have him feel fit and comfortable so that he is able to make his debut when he is fully fit.”
