Laver Cup LIVE streaming: The fifth edition of the Laver Cup will be played at the O2 Arena in London from September 23 to September 25. The annual tournament this year will be the swansong for Tennis great Roger Federer as he is all set to hang up his boots after participating in the tournament. The three-day event is all set to feature some of the top names in the men’s Tennis with Team Europe taking on Team World. What is the format for Laver Cup? 

Laver Cup is a tournament where the best of the Tennis players from across the world will be divided into two teams namely Team Europe and Team World. Players from the European region will join hands in Team Europe while players from the rest of the continents will play for Team Europe. Each team will comprise only six players each.

In the three day event, each day will feature three singles match and one doubles match with the team that registers 13 points in total winning the title. In the Day 1 only one point is awarded for victory in the matches. While on Day 2, winner of each contest will get two points, while on Day 3 it would further increase to three points each for a victory. The first team to win 13 points overall wins the Laver Cup.

2022 Laver Cup Squads 

Team Europe – Casper Ruud, Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Roger Federer

This will be the first time the tournament will feature all the big four in Tennis – Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray – playing together.

Team World –  Taylor Fritz, Felix Auger Alliassime, Diego Schwartzman, Frances Tiafoe, Alex de Minaur, Jack Sock

2022 Laver Cup Schedule & Timings

  • Friday 23 September: 5:30pm, Match 1 (singles), followed by Match 2 (singles)
  • Friday 23 September: 11:30pm, Match 3 (singles), followed by Match 4 (doubles)
  • Saturday 24 September: 5:30pm,Match 5 (singles), followed by Match 6 (singles)
  • Saturday 24 September: 11:30pm, Match 7 (singles), followed by Match 8 (doubles)
  • Sunday 25 September: 12pm, Match 9 (doubles), followed by Match 10 (singles), Match 11 (singles), Match 12 (singles) and a Decider, Match 13 (doubles) if points are even

Laver Cup 2022 is set to be played from 23 September 2022 (Friday) to 25th September (Sunday).
