In January, KSI got his final year of boxing off to a great start by knocking out FaZe Temperrr in the first round. Currently in his second fight of the year, following his victory over Luis Pineda in 2022, he is set to face Joe Fournier.
The notion of KSI taking on Joe Fournier has circulated for quite some time. The possibility of a battle between these two was first brought up in October 2022 when a flyer for the bout appeared online.
After Fournier defeated FaZe Temperrr in January, he met KSI face-to-face and issued a direct challenge to the YouTuber.

In an interview, KSI said, ‘I can’t wait to show the world what Jake Paul couldn’t knock out a professional boxer. The public is getting a better look at KSI with each fight, and I feel bad for Fournier because I know that if I hit a right or a left hand on his chin, that’s it. Once my opponents step foot in the ring with me, they know they’ve entered the gates of hell. They usually emerge from the ring bloodied, battered, or fast asleep. I’m a bad guy in the ring.’
Joe Fournier described the fight as “massive, as big as it gets,” noting that it would air on DAZN pay-per-view from Wembley and include one of the largest global celebrities in a variety of fields, not just boxing.
