This is down to his return to the ring and his feud with fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. Now, ahead of his fight against Dillon Danis, KSI has revealed he will retire from the sport. KSI recently announced he is fighting former MMA fighter Dillon Danis on January 14 on the Misfits x Dazn 004 card. And although he is in training camp for that fight, KSI gave a huge update about his future.
Speaking on his YouTube channel in a video recently, KSI said, “I don’t see the eagerness for you to want me to fight Jake Paul so quickly. I said I’m going to fight him in 2023. The only reason I’ve come back into the boxing scene is to fight Jake Paul and beat him.”

The YouTuber added, “Once I fight Jake Paul, I’m done. I’m not boxing anymore. I would’ve solidified my legacy and then I’m hanging up my gloves forever. So why do we want to rush that?”
KSI update: When will KSI and Jake Paul fight?
From his comments, it is clear that KSI is not in the sport for the same reasons as his rival, Jake Paul. While Paul has previously stated he wants to one day, compete for an official belt, KSI evidently has no desire to compete at that level.
So fans will now wonder when will the pair meet in the ring. At the moment, if we are to believe both parties, they will meet in the latter part of 2023, allegedly in the Wembley Arena in London.

However, with boxing fights and the negotiations that go into it, you just never know. Especially with two high-profile people like KSI and Jake Paul.
