KSI received a boxing fight offer against football icon Wayne Rooney
The British Internet phenomenon, KSI attended a press conference where he answered several questions as KSI vs. Danis is about to take place in a matter of weeks. In addition, he was questioned about which celebrity he would want to fight next at the news conference in London on Thursday, an he revealed that he had received an offer from the current DC United manager.

He stated, “It’s funny, and I hope he doesn’t get annoyed that I’m saying this, but Wayne Rooney hit me up saying ‘oh we should fight.’ I said ‘no’, I just don’t want to do that. If Wayne Rooney is down, I think it would be good to have him in the [influencer boxing] space.”
For those who don’t know, Rooney’s life involves an almost parasitic tie between football and boxing. Rooney, who hails from a boxing family and is a huge admirer of the sport, and interestingly he will join Tyson Fury in training for his match against Oleksandr Usyk in 2023.

There is a flurry of excitement in the boxing and football worlds as a result of KSI’s statement. Since Rooney is undoubtedly one of England’s greatest players ever.
It would thus have been a huge sporting event to witness him putting on the gloves and facing off against KSI under the lights. But regrettably, KSI turned down the offer. Nevertheless, given the hype, it’s certainly expected that KSI might accept the offer.
