Kobe Bryant Birthday: Remembering Black Mamba on his 43rd birth anniversary- Kobe Bryant would have celebrated what would have been his 43rd birthday on Monday, August 23. The late Los Angeles Lakers legend is regarded as one of the finest players in the history of the NBA and has left behind a lasting legacy that transcends basketball into other sports and in life. Bryant breathed his last January last year, passing away in a tragic helicopter crash along with his daughter Gianna Bryant.

Kobe Bryant Birthday: Kobe Bryant enjoyed a stellar career and wishes poured in for the late basketball legend on his 43rd birthday. Bryant spent his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, was the Charlotte Hornets Round 1 No. 13 pick in 1996. However, he was directly traded to the Lakers, where he went on to win five championship titles. Bryant retired in 2016. Fondly known as the “Black Mamba” he won the two NBA Finals MVP and was an NBA All-Star for 18 seasons. Following his death, the league renamed the ALl-Star MVP award in his honour.

Kobe Bryant Birthday: Kobe Bryant passed away with his daughter Gianna and seven others, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The chopper crashed into the hills and all occupants passed away, with officials reporting the cause of death to be blunt force trauma. Bryant was posthumously inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021, with Vanessa delivering the acceptance speech on Bryant’s behalf
