Harry Brook brought up his maiden PSL century in 2022 while playing for Lahore Qalandars against Islamabad United. The right-handed batsman scored 102 runs in just 49 balls while batting at the number five position. His innings included 10 boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate in excess of 208. Lahore Qalandars ended up winning the game by 66 runs, and as expected, Brook was named the player of the match.
The 24-year-old lit up Eden Gardens in Kolkata with a swashbuckling hundred against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday. The right-handed batter from England slammed 12 boundaries and three sixes en route to his first hundred in the IPL. The inning was a quickfire one and came at a strike rate of 181.81.
Harry Brook has also enjoyed an excellent start to his Test career. In six matches, Brook has scored 809 runs at an average of 80.90 with the help of four home runs. The strike rate stands at 98.77 percent.
