Pro Kabaddi League 2022: The ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League has got its winner. Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Puneri Paltan to clinch their second title on Saturday, 17th December 2022. Throughout the league, every player have given their best to help his team perform well on the mat. In this sport, raiders play a very crucial role and this season saw several raiders doing exceptional job, helping their team immensely. Ankush
Debutant Ankush is definitely on of the finds of the season. The youngster, featuring f0r the Jaipur Pink Panthers challenged all the top raiders with his amazing tackling skills. Playing in his maiden season, Ankush has scored 86 tackle points. This is the most by any player in the ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
The youngster has been supported well by senior defenders in histeam Sunil Kumar and Sahul Kumar. Ankush’s addition to the team has made Jaipur Pink Panthers a very strong unit in the defende and this is one of the reasons for the team’s run into the Pro Kabaddi League Final.
Mohammadreza Chiyaneh
Iranian defender Mohammadreza Chiyaneh had a memorable season this year. He finished as the second-best defender in the league with 84 tackle points to his name. In one game he even created a league record by picking up whopping 16 Tackle points from a single match. This is the most number of points collected by a defender in a single match in the history of the league.
Chiyaneh was however the only shining light for Patna Pirates. The three-time champions had a forgettable outing this year as they finished the league stages at the 10th spot on the points table.

For the second successive season, Saurabh Nandal has finished as the top defender for Bengaluru Bulls. He has done a brilliant job for the southern franchise by picking up 72 tackle points. He also picked up three High 5s in the season. His
Aman
While Saurabh Nandal performed exceptionally well on one side, Bengaluru also had Aman, who finished as the second-best defender for the team in this year’s Pro Kabaddi League. Aman finished just behind Nandal in the tackle points tally. He picked up 60 tackle points from the 24 matches that he has played in this season. However Aman and Saurabh Nandal’s performances weren’t enough to take their team to the finals.

Rinku
U Mumba’s Rinku is the next best defender in the league. The youngster collected 59 tackle points to his name in this edition. Playing just his second season, Rinku continued from where he left off in the league. His performances even earned him captaincy after regular skipper Surinder Singh missed few games due to injury.
