Arsenal turned their attention towards Jorginho after watching two bids for Moises Caicedo being turned down by Brighton. The Ecuadorian midfielder was the number one target for the Gunners before turning their attention towards Italy international.

The Premier League giants will pay money in three installments of £37.3m over three years. The deal is believed to be the same as what Atletico Madrid did when they signed Joao Felix from Benfica in 2019.
