Royal Rumble 2008
It is one of the most memorable moments in Royal Rumble history and probably in our hearts too. In October 2007, Cena suffered an injury which was said would take 9-12 months to heal. However, Cena magically made his appearance in the 2008 Royal Rumble match to the shock of everyone. He entered the match at number 30, then eliminated 4 wrestlers within 10 minutes. His last elimination was Triple H, which led him to claim the first Royal Rumble win of his career.
Royal Rumble 2013
The next best john Cena moment took place at the 2013 Royal Rumble. Cena entered the Royal Rumble match at number 19 and lasted for 26 minutes. Cena eliminated Heath Slater, Cody Rhodes, Cesaro and finally the second last wrestler standing, that is Ryback. Thus claiming his second Royal Rumble victory and setting a record.
Royal Rumble 2011
Based on eliminations, this is considered to be John Cena’s best performance in a Royal Rumble match. Cena entered the match at 22 and went on an elimination spree, he eliminated CM Punk, Mason Ryan, Heath Slater, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty, Tyson Kidd and Alex Riley. Thus he eliminated 7 wrestlers in total, however, moments later he was eliminated by The Miz.
Royal Rumble 2005
Royal Rumble 2005 was an epic event and displayed one of the most chaotic Royal Rumble matches in history. This match is also popular because of it’s weirdest finish. In this match both Cena and Batista successfully hit the floor at the same time which caused Vince McMahon to declare the match shall restart. Though after restarting Batista is the one who won the match, John Cena surely put out a marvelous show there.
Royal Rumble 2018
This was John Cena’s last appearance at the Royal Rumble and he surely made it memorable. This match witnessed some of the best moments in history, one of which had John Cena’s involvement. Cena entered the match at number 20 and lasted for nearly 30 minutes. The moment from the match that will always be one of John Cena’s best moments is his elimination of The Hurricane, after his return to WWE. It is also considered to be one of the best Rumbles in history.
