Felix arrived on loan until the end of the season at Stamford Bridge. The Blues proudly announced the arrival of their young forward on Twitter. However, fans noticed an error in the announcement tweet which forced Chelsea to delete the tweet and repost it, but by then, thousands of fans had already seen the tweet.

In their tweet, they welcomed ‘the artist’ to Chelsea and used the hashtag, #HolaFelix. It is important to note that Hola means hello in Spanish, but Felix is not from Spain and is a Portuguese player. In Portuguese, hello is written as ‘Olá’.
A number of their fans pointed this silly error out. One fan said, ‘Hola’ is Spanish, Joao Felix is Portuguese…’. While another fan was slightly more brutal, as the tweet said, ‘You’d think that a club whose most successful manager was Portuguese would know the difference.’

Felix has arrived in London on the back of a £10 million loan fee, which will keep him at Chelsea until the end of the season. There is no option for Chelsea to make this move permanent. He will be hoping to impress everyone at Stamford Bridge before going back to Madrid in the summer.
