The most recent addition to the UFC’s December calendar is a middleweight matchup between Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze, both highly regarded competitors.
On December 2, Cannonier (17-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Dolidze (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) are anticipated to square off at an unspecified UFC Fight Night event.
The promotion hasnt yet been made, but the report has been verified with people in the organisation.

December 2nd: Jared Cannonier vs. Roman Dolidze: Officially Added
This winter, top middleweights Roman Dolidze and Jared Cannonier will square off.
Cannonier vs. Dolidze will take place on December 2 as part of an unannounced Fight Night event, which is most likely to take place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, according to numerous sources with knowledge of the promotion’s intentions. The fight was first announced by ESPN.com, who described it as a contender’s fight.
At UFC 293, Cannonier weighed in as a backup for the middleweight title bout between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland. Several sources claim that Strickland almost replaced Adesanya after the latter was accused of getting into a confrontation with a fan.
When Cannonier most recently competed, he defeated Marvin Vettori, a former middleweight title contender. It was his second victory following a failed attempt to challenge Adesanya for the title at the time.
Vettori, who defeated Dolidze in his most recent match in March, is a common foe of theirs. That defeat ended a four-fight winning streak during which many observers had the Georgian fighter in title contention.
Now that Strickland has numerous alternatives for his first title defence, including a rematch with Adesanya, Dolidze and Cannonier will attempt to fight their way into contention for the new champion.
