Coutinho’s first game for the club could come at the weekend as Steven Gerrard’s men take on Manchester United. In the Premier League Philippe Coutinho has made a total of 152 PL appearances has scored 41 PL goals and provided 35 assists with Liverpool. He has made 201 appearances for Liverpool having scored 54 goals in all competitions.
In his fourth season as a Barca player, he spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Bayern Munich, the midfielder reached 100 Barca appearances in a game against Rayo Vallecano. In total he has made 106 appearances as a Blaugrana, scoring 26 goals and his record is 65 wins, 24 draws, and 15 defeats.
“It says a lot about him that he wanted to leave to get more minutes,” Xavi said. “His salary has been reduced. He is a great professional and he wants to succeed. He was struggling here and he has looked for a solution.”
