IPL 2023 Replacements: The injured Raj Angad Bawa has been replaced by Gurnoor Singh Brar in Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023). Gurnoor has been signed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for his base price of INR 20 lakhs. PBKS had bagged U-19 World Cup winner Raj Angad Bawa for worth Rs 2 crore in the auction. It is a big setback for Shikhar Dhawan-led team after ruling out of Jonny Bairstow and no NOC clearance for Liam Livingstone.
Due to a left shoulder injury, 20-year-old Raj Angad Bawa, who appeared in two games for PBKS last year, is no longer available.

Gurnoor, a left-handed all-round batsman for Punjab, made his first-class debut in December 2022. He has played in 5 first-class games, scoring 107 runs with a strike rate of 120.22 and grabbing 7 wickets with a 3.80 economy rate.
“Punjab Kings (PBKS) have signed Gurnoor Singh Brar for INR 20 lakhs as a replacement for injured Raj Angad Bawa for the TATA IPL 2023 season. Raj Angad Bawa who played two games for PBKS last season, has been ruled out due to a left shoulder injury,” IPL organisers in a statement confirmed.
