From a promising youngster to a star player, to captain, to the Hitman avatar Rohit Sharma has achieved a lot in the MI shirt. Having begun his career at the now-defunct Deccan Chargers, Rohit was up for grabs in the 2011 mega auction. Punjab, Deccan and MI were all involved in a bidding frenzy, which saw the latter bag him ultimately for $2 million USD.

He has since won 7 titles while setting a plethora of records for the franchise. Rohit has the second most wins by a captain IN IPL history, behind the legendary MS Dhoni. While Dhoni is still going at it in CSK, the Hit-Man is primed to better the Thala in the future.
