Meanwhile, Punjab Kings have been eliminated out of the Playoffs race after suffering defeat against RR on Friday. On the other hand, RR has kept their hopes alive with a win. IPL 2023 Playoff Race: Where do teams stand?
- Gujarat Titans
The defending champions are currently top of the points table and have already qualified for the Playoffs.
- Chennai Super Kings
Back to the top of the points table, CSK are right behind the defending champions. The Yellow Army has won 7 out of their 13 matches and are placed second in the table. They were comfortably defeated at home by Kolkata Knight Riders and will have to win their last remaining game against Delhi Capitals to officially qualify for the playoffs.
- Lucknow Super Giants
LSG jumped to third after registering a thrilling 5-run win over MI on Tuesday. The Super Giants will need to win against RCB to confirm their spot in Playoffs.
- Mumbai Indians
The 5-time champions suffered a defeat against LSG. They are now 5th on the table and need to win their final game with a huge margin to better their poor NRR.
- Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals registered a win against Punjab Kings to keep their Playoffs hopes alive. IThey now need RCB and MI to drop points in their respective matches.
- Kolkata Knight Riders
Down but surely not out! After a gut wrenching defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals, the Knight pounced back hard to beat Chennai Super Kings away from home. With 12 points from 13 game, KKR are still mathematically in the race for the playoffs. They will have to win their last home game against LSG and hope for other results to go their way.
- Royal Challengers Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore reached the 4th spot of the Points table with a dominating 8-wicket win over SRH on Thursday. The Faf du Plessis-led side just need to win their game against LSG to secure Playoff spot.
- Punjab Kings
PBKS are officially out of Playoffs contention after suffering loss against RR.

- Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH got knocked out of Playoffs race. They lost their recent match against RCB by 8 wickets.
- Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals are also officially out of contention for the playoff race. However, they can still damage other team hopes to qualify for the next stage.
