As per reports, close to 1500 drones will be used at the opening ceremony, creating a unique LED and light show that has never been witnessed in 15 years of IPL before. The drones will be of different shapes in the sky, IPL Trophy is one of them as can be seen from the video. The practice for the drone show has been going since two days.
