Rajasthan Royals (RR) had sent social media into a frenzy by sharing a post featuring Prasidh Krishna. This will be the first home game for the Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, and the Royals’ latest Instagram post is keeping Netzines abuzz regarding the possibility of Prasidh making a comeback in the game against LSG. RR vs LSG: Will Prasidh Krishna play for RR against LSG today?
The answer in all likelihood is no. Prasidh is out of action for six to eight weeks and needs to go to NCA for rehabilitation after surgery. However, the 27-year-old might be coming to watch the Royals take on LSG at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Sandeep Sharma has replaced Prasidh for the remainder of the IPL season.
For the uninitiated, the RR pacer suffered lumber stress fracture injury in September 22, and was earlier ruled out of IPL 2022 season. RR also confirmed the same on their official website “Rajasthan Royals would like to confirm that their 26-year-old pacer Prasidh Krishna will miss the 2023 season of the IPL owing to a stress fracture surgery, and the rehabilitation process that will follow. However, Prasidh is all of a sudden trending on Twitter, owing to RR’s cryptic post.
