What exactly transpired between Kohli and Gambhir
Kohli took perfect revenge on Gambhir after the LSG mentor slushed the Chinnaswamy crowd during the round one battle between RCB vs LSG. Kohli was charged up throughout the LSG’s run chase and silenced the LSG crowd by repeating Gambhir’s gesture.
For the Uninitiated, Kohli had few words to say for Naveen Ul Haq when the Afghan batter walked into the bat. Between overs, the two had a go at each other, promoting even umpires to intervene. Things turned ugly when Naveen pushed Kohli’s hand after a handshake and refused to speak to the RCB batter when LSG skipper KL Rahul called him.
Gambhir watched all this from the dugout and refused to handshake with Kohli after the match. The LSG mentor also took Kyle Mayers away from the Caribbean Star when he was seen interacting with Kohli. This irked the RCB batter, and he had a go at Gambhir. The former India opener stormed past Kohli and was angrily seen having a go at the RCB batter before KL Rahul and a few LSG players calmed things down between the two.

Gambhir and Kohli have been fined 100% of their match fees for the code of conduct breach following their heated fight at Ekana Stadium. As per the BCCI statement, Gambhir and Kohli have been admitted to Level 2 offense. Naveen Ul Haq has also been charged 50% of his match fees for his argument with Kohli. The Aghan pacer has been charged with a Level 1 offense.
