IPL 2023 Auction: 19 Indian-capped players are up for grabs after they registered themselves for the IPL Auction in Kochi. Mayank Agarwal, Ajinkya Rahane and Manish Pandey are amongst the biggest draws among Indian international stars in the upcoming auction. However, the trio had a season to forget in IPL 2022 and considerably slashed their base price to attract more suitors.
For the first time in IPL Auction history, no Indian player has set a base price for Rs 2 crore. Meanwhile, 21 overseas stars have done so, including the likes of Ben Stokes, Cameron Green and Sam Curran.
Mayank Agarwal is the biggest bet of the lot after being released by the Punjab Kings. Agarwal was retained for Rs 12 crore and named captain last byear, but his form nosedived and PBKS crashed out. He has listed himself at Rs 1 crore.
Manish Pandey, bought by the Lucknow Super Giants for 4.6 crore joins him in the bracket. Former CSK and SRH star Kedar Jadhav has also listed 1 crore as his base. Jadhav went unsold at a price of Rs 2 crore last year.

KKR bought Ajinkya Rahane for Rs 1 crore in the mega auction last year after he initially went unsold. However, the former India Test vice-captain struggled at the top of the order and was subsequently released. The Mumbai star has set his base price to Rs 50 lakh, trying to find a suitor.
Meanwhile, Fellow out-of-favour test specialist, Ishant Sharma has listed for Rs 75 lakh. One of the most expensive action buys, Jaydev Unadkat finds himself back in the pool. Bought for Rs 1.3 crore last season, Unadkat was however released by Mumbai Indians despite a good Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Saurashtra star commands a minimum fee of 50 Lakh.
