Chahal has been one of the consistent bowlers who has regularly picked wickets every season and this season is no different from others. Chahal has a very good chance of breaking his highest wicket tally in a single season. He picked up 23 wickets in the 2015 campaign and in IPL 2022 he can very easily topple his best season stats.

After failing to get retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore and sidestepped by RCB, Chahal was desperate to prove his worth. Rajasthan Royals who didn’t hesitate once to pick the Indian Internation spinner are now reaping the harvest of their clever investment.
