Malik has broken all RECORDS by bowling the FASTEST delivery of IPL 2022 on Sunday. It was a 154-kilometre per hour delivery to Chennai Super Kings’ Ruturaj Gaikwad. Although it was edged for a boundary, Jammu Express dethroned Lockie Ferguson who bowled a 153.9KPH stunner.
However, Umran Malik isn’t going to stop there. The young Kashmiri pacer has locked 155KPH his target.
“I just want to bowl at the right areas and good wickets and if I have to bowl above 155kph, God willing, I will do one day,” Umran Malik said after bagging his Man of the Match award against Gujarat Titans.

Umran is also set to be give the maiden call-up to the India team for the South Africa series. One of the selectors told InsideSport that they are excited by the talent of Umran and are closely monitoring his progress.
“How often do you get a bowler in India bowling at 150kph+ consistently? He is a rare talent and is definitely on our radar. Of course, his name is being considered for India so that he can be groomed,” a member of the selection committee told InsideSport earlier this week.
