Saha demolished with a yorker – IPL 2022 Fastest Bowler: On the second ball of the 14th delivery Saha was bating on well-made 68 runs off 38 deliveries, before the Umran storm struck. A delivery with a velocity of 152.8 kph demolished Saha’s timber as the set batter departed to hand the initiative to SRH in the contest. Umran has been racing with venom for the entire campaign and has been fighting with Lockie Ferguson for the ‘fastest delivery’ tag for the entire season.
Celebration in Steyn style from Umran – After securing the wicket, Umran was seen imitating Dale Steyn as he punched the air towards the ground. This was the celebration made more famous by Steyn in his playing days as he often gave nightmares to his opposition camp. Dale is currently working with Umran as a bowling coach in SRH camp.

Umran chases Purple Cap – IPL 2022 Fastest Bowler: The versatile player is now chasing the Purple Cap as he now has 15 wickets in eight matches. Umran is only trailing Yuzvendra Chahal with 18 scalps in the standings and ended with figures of 25/5 in his five overs. Interestingly, despite his impressive run, he yet to be called up to the Indian team and will certainly be an option in the coming South Africa tour.
