He remained unbeaten on 56 off just 15 balls where his knock consisted of 4 fours and 6 sixes in a show of his life.
2. Rahul Tewatia Madness – Gujarat Titans rode home to their third successive win with finisher Rahul Tewatia scoring 12 runs in the final two deliveries of the game. Chasing 190 scored by Punjab Kings, GT fell under a bit of pressure when they needed to score 57 off 33.
With 19 runs needed in the last three deliveries, Miller took a single to give strike to Tewatia who needed to hit two biggies to win the game. The player who had previously hit Sheldon Cottrell for 5 sixes in an over, made it look easy with his sublime batting as he hammered two sixes to win an epic encounter.

3. Umran Malik – The Rise of the Speedster – The Kashmiri pacer has been one of the star performers for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022. The young speedster has consistently bowled fast deliveries and has gone on to register his name thrice in the top 6 list of fastest deliveries bowled in IPL.
Shaun Tait currently holds the record for the fastest delivery, but the Kashmiri pacer finished with 22 wickets for the season and almost bowled the fastest delivery of the season, only for Lockie Ferguson to breach the mark in the final. Malik’s form saw him fast-tracked into the Indian side, earning a call up for the South Africa series. Malik has bowled the second-fastest delivery in IPL 2022 season when the speedometer clocked 157 kmph.
4. MS Dhoni – Best Finisher in the World – The former Indian skipper was nicknamed the best finisher of the game in the limited format of the game. In one of the most iconic matches of the season, against arch-rivals, Mumbai Indians, in the el-Classico, MS Dhoni hit 17 runs in the last over to win the game for his side and bring back the memories of his previous exploits.
The CSK star batter needed 17 runs in the last 6 balls. With Jaydev Unadkat as the bowler for the Mumbai outfits, Dhoni slammed a big six and two fours to complete a well-deserved victory for the Chennai Super Kings.

5. Yuzvendra Chahal – Maiden hattrick of IPL 2022 – Rajasthan Royals sensation Yuzvendra Chahal, single-handedly changed the entire complexion of RR vs KKR match with a spectacular hat-trick. With that, he joined an elite club of cricketers. In the match, he returned with five wickets, first of IPL 2022 as RR beat KKR by 7 runs
Yuzvendra Chahal Hat-Trick: How it all happened?
- It was in the 17th over that Chahal began with the wicket of Venkatesh Iyer.
- HAT-TRICK Ball 1: 16.4: Shreyas Iyer went for a big hit on the fuller-length delivery and missed the line and was trapped LBW.
- HAT-TRICK Ball 2: 16.5: Shivam Mavi came to bat and he also tried go for a big but fell short in the long-on. Riyan Parag with an easy catch dismissed him.
- HAT-TRICK Ball 2: 16.6: Pat Cummins came to the crease and faced full wrath of a wrist-spinner. The ball turned and Cummins edged it to Samson, who took a brilliant catch.
Chahal ended up being the purple cap winner for the IPL 2022 season. He also broke the record set by Imran Tahir who picked up 26 wickets, as the most wickets to be picked by a spinner in the history of the Indian Premier League.
