IPL 2022- SRH overhaul support staff: After a forgetful IPL 2021 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad are looking to change their fortunes in their bid for a second IPL trophy. The Orange army announced a strong support staff ahead of IPL 2022 season. Tom Moody joins as the SRH head coach while West Indies legend Brian Lara has been appointed as Strategic Advisor & batting coach.

Bharat Arun- KKR Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in Bharat Arun as the new bowling coach of the IPL 2022 season. The development comes as a huge boost to the franchise. He is expected to boost the Kolkata knight Riders bowling department. He will work closely with the KKR head coach Brendan McCullum.
Bharat Arun has nurtured the likes of Mohd Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and India bench strength in pace bowling. His presence saw India bowlers dominate in Australia & England. KKR are expected to target key bowlers in the upcoming auction and sharpen their bowling department in IPL 2022.
Kumar Sangakkara- RR Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara has been elevated as head coach from ‘Rajasthan Royals Director of Cricket’. RR will be hoping to end their 15-year IPL trophy drought after becoming champions in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League.
Sanjay Bangar – RCB- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Tuesday announced the appointment of Sanjay Bangar as the new head coach of the Indian Premier League (IPL) side. In February, Royal Challengers Bangalore appointed Sanjay Bangar as the batting consultant ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 and now the former cricketer is promoted as the head coach of the team.

- Andy Flower has been named as the coach of the Lucknow franchise.
- Gautam Gambhir will serve as the mentor of the franchise.
- Former India fast bowler Ashish Nehra has been appointed as the head coach of the Ahmedabad IPL franchise. Nehra was earlier the bowling coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
