“You need to look beyond Dhoni and Virat (Kohli) as a franchise. As a brand do persist with them. Do attach your emotions and passions with your two stars. But, this is a cruel world. You need to look beyond them,” Shoaib Akhtar told Sportskeeda.
“Dhoni has been a great player. He used to give other players chance top of the order, while playing lower down the order himself. But I would like to see Dhoni make a magical comeback,” he added.
IPL 2022: MS Dhoni – Virat Kohli
- The two players have been playing for the respective franchises ever since they started playing IPL.
- Kohli remains a vital cog of RCB and his string of failures has become a cause of concern. The former RCB captain is the highest-ever run-scorer in the history of the IPL with 6499 runs under his belt.
