As per official confirmation from CSK, Jadeja has been ruled out for the remaining games of the IPL 2022 season. In a statement released by Chennai Super Kings, the assessment of Jadeja was revealed.
“Ravindra Jadeja reported a bruised rib and was unavailable for Chennai Super Kings’ game against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He was under observation and based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL season,” CSK’s statement read.

Jadeja’s untimely injury during the business end of the competition is a massive blow for CSK, who need to win all of their remaining three games to harbor hopes of qualifying. The MS Dhoni-led team will now be up against MI in a do-or-die clash.
