Dhoni Inspired Beer Copter7: According to reports, Dhoni and fellow promoters are in talks with Accord Group for a partnership to enter Chennai. The deal is expected to be signed and announced soon.
Accord Group is into hospitality and pharmaceuticals among others, runs a liquor business under Accord Distillers.
In April last year, food and beverages startup 7Ink Brews had announced the onboarding of Dhoni as brand ambassador and shareholder.
Copter7 is built around the attributes of champion cricketer and inspired by his signature ‘helicopter shot’
Copter7 comes in ‘lager’ and strong variants, and is currently sold across restaurants, bars, and retail outlets across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Goa, Punjab and Jharkhand.
“When you believe so strongly in the vision of a company, it makes the association that much more meaningful. I am truly elated to be a shareholder and brand ambassador for a company like 7Ink Brews,” Dhoni was quoted as saying in a press release issued by the company at the time of launch.
