R Ashwin: DC spinner R Ashwin has so far earned Rs 72 crore from IPL. He has played for a number of IPL franchises in his career – CSK, RPS, KXIP, PBKS and DC. He was last bought for Rs 7.6 crore and is currently in a blistering form to leave an impact. The experienced spinner has played 167 matches and taken 145 wickets at an economy rate of 6.91.
David Warner: Former SRH captain David Warner is the highest run-scorer among overseas batsmen in IPL history. His swashbuckling show has helped him earn Rs 71 crore from his IPL career. The Australia opener is expected to be a hot pick owing to his captaincy experience and ability to take on any bowler in the world. He is the first batsman to score 50 half-centuries in the tournament. The left-hander has amassed 5000+ runs – most by an overseas player—in IPL.
