IPL 2022: Pandya and Hooda’s dispute dates back to last year, when both players were involved in a heated argument while being at the Baroda camp for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. As a result of the argument, Hooda decided to cut ties with Baroda and instead joined Rajasthan.

The duo was unexpectedly reunited by newly-formed Indian Premier League franchise Lucknow Super Giants, and while many expected their personal relation to hamper their performances on the field, that has not been the case at all. Both players have seemed to be enjoying each other’s company, and Hooda has now claimed that “Krunal Pandya is like my brother.”
Speaking to Dainik Jagran, the 26-year-old all-rounder said “He (Krunal) is like my brother, and brothers do fight. We are playing with one aim, which is to win games for LSG.”

On being asked about what is reaction was when LSG bought both him and Krunal in the auction, Hooda said “I was not watching the IPL auction. We met just like the other players at the team hotel. Whatever happened is in the past, and as I said, we both are playing for the same team and our goals, too, are the same.”

Both Hooda and Pandya in good form – Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda sorting their disputes has worked out well for Lucknow, since both players are performing well for KL Rahul’s team.
