IPL 2022: KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty: Star batsman KL Rahul has finally made his public appearance with rumoured girlfriend Athiya Shetty. After spending time together since the India tour of England, the couple loosened up for PDA. The two of them appeared at the premiere of Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap. The couple were also joined by Pandya brothers Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya.

KL Rahul looked dapper as he chose to wear a black T-Shirt with matching sneakers and a peach blazer while Athiya Shetty appeared gorgeous in all-black. The entire Shetty family appeared in the premiere including actor Sunil Shetty. Even KL Rahul joined them in the picture. Notably, Sunil Shetty had shared a congratulatory tweet for the cricketer after his Test century at Lord’s earlier this year.

IPL 2022: KL Rahul- The former Punjab Kings captain has parted ways with his IPL franchise. Reports are doing rounds on social media that he can go for even Rs 20 crore+ amount if part of IPL 2022 Auctions. The right-handed batsman had scored 550+ runs for four consecutive seasons. His last IPL salary was Rs 11 crore. He is likely to lead a new franchise next season.

IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya & Krunal Pandya- Mumbai Indians allrounders failed to be a part of the IPL 2022 Retentions. The duo were dismal in the last few IPL editions. Hardik Pandya, in particular, has failed to live up to expectations. He managed a meagre 127 runs in 14 matches. Adding to it, he has not bowled for Mumbai Indians for the last two IPL seasons. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya’s salaries of Rs 11 crore and Rs 8.8 were way above than their performances. They are likely to be purchased at a lower price in mega auctions. Krunal Pandya, in particular, might even go unsold.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has ruled himself out of the India Tour of South Africa which is awaiting the government’s nod. KL Rahul is the favourite to return after injury ruled him out of New Zealand Tests.
