IPL 2022: Anrich Nortje fitness – Finally, there is some good news for Delhi Capitals fans. South African speedster is nearing his recovery and he is all set to be available for IPL 2022, from the third match. The South African pacer has been out of action with a hip injury since the T20 World Cup and was all but ruled out for the IPL 2022. With India series and T20 World Cup 2022, South Africa medical team didn’t want to take any risk and rush his return. He was ruled out of the Bangladesh series.

However, Nortje now is nearing the completion of his recovery. He has already reached Mumbai and has begun quarantine. He will join the squad and will have light training initially before he is declared match-fit.

Anrich Nortje was retained by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.5 Crore. But there has been a cloud over his availability due to the nature of the injury.
