Most Sixes IPL Season: At the time of writing, 873 sixes have been smashed in the 2022 edition of this competition, which has already surpassed the previous highest of 872 in IPL 2018. With quite a few matches still remaining, it will not be a surprise if the sixes counter goes near the magic 1000 mark or even surpasses it.

As for the longest sixes, Punjab Kings’ Liam Livingstone is currently topping the charts with a humongous 117 metre hit against Gujarat Titans, off the bowling of Mohammad Shami. Besides that, Livingstone also struck a 108 metre six off Mukesh Choudhury’s bowling in the match against Chennai Super Kings.
Behind Livingstone, Mumbai Indians’ Dewald Brevis is currently second on the list with a gigantic 112 metre hit against Rahul Chahar in a game against Punjab Kings. Livingstone is tied in the third position with Nicholas Pooran, who smashed a 108 metre six against Delhi Capitals’ Anrich Nortje.
