IPL 2022 Auction – Delhi Capitals Big Mistake? Indian opening batsman & Mr. Consistent of IPL Shikhar Dhawan wasn’t retained by Delhi Capitals in the retention. According to former CSK player Robin Uthappa says this decision is likelty to bite DC in IPL 2022.
Delhi Capitals retained Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw and Anrich Nortje during the IPL Retentions. Uthappa feels by not retaining Dhawan & also Kagiso Rabada will bite Delhi Capitals in 15th edition of IPL.
“About Shikhar, for sure. He has done so exceptionally well for them. It was a no-brainer. DC should have retained him. I am also shocked that they decided to let-go bowler of the caliber of Kagiso Rabada. Take my word, these decisions have a potential to bite them” said Uthappa on Star Sports show.

“And even up there, we know how dangerous Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan can be, so the fact that they have let go of one from that pair is actually quite surprising,” he added.
