The IPL Auction will take place on 12th and 13th February in Bangalore while the main competition will tentatively commence from 27th March.

Alex Hales: The English 33-year-old opener will play for Islamabad United in PSL 2022. This will be a perfect opportunity for Hales to perform well in PSL and gain a spot in IPL 2022. He has previously played in IPL in 2018 where he played 6 games and scored 148 runs with an average of 24.66
Joe Clarke: The 25-year-old wicketkeeping batter can be a hot pick in the IPL 2022 Mega Auctions after his good form. Signed by the Karachi Kings, Clarke who has played 93 First-Class matches and has scored 5609 runs in 160 innings will be eager to find a spot in IPL 2022.

Chris Jordan: Currently in the England squad that is playing a 5-match T20I series against West Indies, Chris Jordan will be playing the PSL for the Karachi Kings. The 33-year-old bowler has played 24 matches in IPL over the years. He has picked 25 wickets in 24 games with an average of 27.92 and will be eager to perform well to get a spot in IPL 2022.

Phil Salt: The 25-year old English opener will be playing for the Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2022. The young player who is currently on the England tour of West Indies has played 3 ODI games and 121 T20 matches. He has scored over 2766 runs in 117 T20 innings with an average of 25.37. A good performance in the tour and in PSL can earn him a spot in IPL.

Imran Tahir: Imran Tahir needs no introduction for cricket lovers. The 42-year-old South African spinner will be playing for Multan Sultans this season. Tahir has played well in the IPL after picking 82 wickets in 59 games and would be ready for another chance in 2022.
David Wiese: The 36-year-old Namibian international will be playing for the Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2022. The all-rounder has a good T20I record where he scored 339 runs and picked 33 wickets in 31 matches. He would be eager to perform well in PSL to get a spot in the upcoming IPL.

Liam Livingstone: The 28-year-old English player currently on tour to West Indies will be a part of the Peshawar Zalmi. The all-rounder has played 3 ODI matches and 14 T20I games for his nation. He has scored 72 runs and picked 3 wickets in ODIs and 252 runs and 8 wickets in T20Is. Livingstone will perform to his best to play in IPL 2022.

Sherfane Rutherford: The 23-year-old middle-order batter is a rising talent. He will be a part of the Peshawar Zalmi lineup for PSL 2022. The young all-rounder has played 6 T20I games for his nation where he has scored 43 runs and picked 1 wicket. The PSL will provide him the perfect opportunity for him to perform well to get a spot in IPL.
Shimron Hetmyer: The 25-year-old West Indies player is a fiery batter. As a part of the Partial replacements list in Quetta Gladiators, Hetmyer will look to consolidate his spot in IPL. He has previously played 14 games in IPL 2021 where he scored 242 runs with an average of 34.57.
James Vince: The 30-year-old English batsman is a part of the Quetta Gladiators. He has played 13 test matches, 19 ODIs, and 14 T20Is for his nation. With 480 runs in ODIs and 358 runs in T20Is, Vince would be desperate to perform in PSL and thus earn a spot in IPL 2022.
