Devdutt Padikkal

  • The RCB opener’s absence in IPL 2022 Retention surprised many after he scored 400+ in the last two seasons after his debut.
  • He amassed 473 and 411 runs in the successive IPL seasons which featured a century and 11 fifties.
  • He perfectly filled the opening slot for Royal Challengers Bangalore and the franchise would bid for him once again.

Ishan Kishan

Shubman Gill

  • Shubman Gill became a vital cog for KKR in recent years.
  • He has scored 296, 440 and 478 runs in the last three seasons.
  • His consistent performance in IPL 2021 helped KKR reach the final.
  • The 22-year-old is likely to grab attention in IPL 2022 Auctions.
  • Besides being a consistent batsman, Gill could also be the vice-captain option for a number of franchises.

Chetan Sakariya 

  • The former Rajasthan Royals pacer took 14 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 8.19 rpo.
  • His excellent performances were noticed and he made India debut against Sri Lanka in ODIs and T20Is.
  • The youngster was bought for Rs 1.2 crore but his price is expected to go north owing to his exceptional debut season.

Kartik Tyagi

  • Another ex-RR pacer Kartik Tyagi took 9 wickets in 10 matches.
  • In one of the IPL 2021 matches, he defended 4 runs off the final over.
  • Rajasthan had roped in the youngster for Rs 1.3 crore but might need to expense more on him at the IPL 2022 Auction.
