- Deepak Chahar on Sunday played a brilliant inning in a narrow finish. He batted at a strike rate of 158+ which combined a couple of sixes and 5 boundaries.
- He had earlier slammed unbeaten 69 against Sri Lanka during India’s last ODI series. His allrounder status makes him a key pick ahead of auctions
- Chahar is one of the best weapons in powerplay overs. He has yielded results for MS Dhoni’s CSK by bowling three overs in the powerplays a number of times.
- The 29-year-old has grown from strength to strength throughout the season. He has taken 22, 12 & 14 wickets in the last 3 editions of IPL.
