The right-handed opener, Harnoor Singh Pannu was excellent for India at the top of the order. He finished as the second leading run-scorer in the tournament with 131 runs from 4 matches including a half-century. He had an average of 32.75 with a strike rate of 74.85.

Shaik Rasheed –

India U-19 vice-captain & right-handed batsman Shaik Rasheed finished as the most run-scorer in the U-19 Asia Cup 2019 with 133 runs in 4 innings at an average of 66.50, including a fifty. Andhra Pradesh batter played an unbeaten 90-run innings to help Indian post a good total on the board in the semi-finals against Bangladesh and returned unbeaten on 31 in the final against Sri Lanka.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi –

Another Indian opener who grabbed eyeballs with his class hitting and run-scoring abilities is Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The right-handed opener slammed an unbeaten fifty in the final against Sri Lanka after the side lost Harnoor Singh early in the run chase. Raghuvanshi was also impressive with his fielding abilities as he chipped in with an excellent direct-hit run out and a catch against SL in the U-19 Asia Cup final.

Raj Angad Bawa –

The Himachal Pradesh-born Raj Bawa was the key all-rounder for India in the recently concluded tournament. The right-arm medium-fast picked up 8 wickets and finished as the leading wicket-taker for India. Bawa has got some hitting skills too and he scored 91 runs in 3 games averaging 45.50.

Rajvardhan Hangarekar-

The Maharashtra-born has some good hitting skills as well as good bowling skills which were on display in the short tournament. He claimed five wickets from 4 games and struck 49 runs in the 2 games he got the chance. He had an impressive strike rate of 181.48 and can be used as an effective all-rounder batting lower down the order.
