Considered two of the Fab 4 besides Joe Root and Steve Smith, Kohli and Williamson have had a poor run of form in IPL and international cricket. Kohli has managed just 216 runs from 12 matches while Williamson has 199 runs in 11 games.
However, the Sunrisers Hyderabad captain is also going through a rough patch. After returning from an elbow injury, Williamson has managed just a single half-century. His strike rate which is just 96.14 is also horrendous, especially for a batter who opens the innings.

On Sunday, Kane Williamson did not even open his account and departed without facing a ball in the first over.
IPL 2022: How did Kane Williamson get out?
It was the first ball of the SRH innings with Glenn Maxwell bowling. Abhishek Sharma was on strike. Maxwell bowled a short ball outside off and Sharma hit it to Shahbaz Ahmed in the cover. While they tried to go for the single, Ahmed managed a direct hit.
The replays showed that Kane Williamson was just a millimetre short of the crease when the ball hit the stumps.
As for the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore set a 193-run target for Sunrisers Hyderabad after opting to bat. Once Virat Kohli fell for a golden duck, Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar stitched together a century-stand. Du Plessis remained unbeaten on 73 while Dinesh Karthik smashed 8-ball 30 to post 192.
