IPL 2021, KKR vs DC: Rishabh Pant almost knocks out Dinesh Karthik – Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant is known to be an explosive batsman who knocks out almost every odd ball but on Tuesday, he had almost knocked Kolkata Knight Riders’ Dinesh Karthik out, probably out of the match.

The Delhi Capitals skipper was batting in the 17th over when the incident happened. As he tried to go after a Varun Chakravarthy delivery, the ball took an edge and as he tried to swat his way with the bat, he had almost knocked out Dinesh Karthik. But the former KKR skipper got away, by the thread of a hair and didn’t look too happy about the incident.

IPL 2021, KKR vs DC: But Rishabh Pant didn’t waste time to apologise and the two made ammends fist bumping straight away. While the incident looked funny on camera, Rishabh Pant must know that such incidents have taken lives on cricket field.

However, before he was dismissed for 39 off 36, he reached a personal milestone of 3000 T20 runs. During his knock, Rishabh Pant also became the leading run-scorer of Delhi Capitals in IPL. He breached the previous record held by legendary Virender Sehwag.
