IPL Auction 2021: Shakib Al Hasan sold to KKR for Rs 3.2 crore after bidding war with Punjab Kings; Here is all you need to know: The Bangladeshi all-rounder has been bought for his services by KKR for a sum of Rs 3.2 crore. Shakib Al Hasan has remained an integral part of whichever team he plays for. He made his comeback recently against the ongoing series against West Indies after serving a ban of 1 year from ICC for not reporting a corrupt approach during the IPL 2019. Touted as one of the best all-rounders of all time, he provides the necessary balance in the middle order as he can bowl 3-4 overs and score quickfire runs down the order. He was previously a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. Shakib has 749 runs and 59 wickets in 63 IPL matches so far.
It was a bidding war between Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders but the latter were able to retain his services.
