Sai Praneeth on Wednesday crashed out of the ongoing Indonesia Masters. Praneeth suffered a defeat against Indonesia’s Shesar Hiren Rhustavito 21-16, 14-21, 20-22. The Indian shuttler won the first game, however, the Indonesian opponent staged a remarkable comeback in the second and third games to win the match.
HS Prannoy beat Liew Daren – 22-20, 21-19
Indian shuttler HS Prannoy on Wednesday entered the pre-quarters of the Indonesia Masters Super 750 badminton tournament after a thumping win.
Prannoy defeated Malaysian badminton player Liew Daren 22-20, 21-19 in the round of 32 game. The entire game lasted for 49 minutes which saw the Indian shuttler getting over the line after a fighting show.
With this win, India’s campaign continued its fine form as earlier mix doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila and N Reddy Sikki and ace shuttler Kidambi Srikanth had reached the last 16.
On the other hand, Sai Praneeth faces the World Rank 12 Indonesian Shesar Hiren RHUSTAVITO and will be looking to get off to a winning start.
In mixed doubles, the pairing of Dhruv Kapila and N Sikki Reddy notched up a stunning 21-11 22-20 win over second seeds and world no 5 Indonesian duo of Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti to also advance to the second round.

In a match that lasted for 1 hour and 15 minutes, Srikanth came out on top against the French shuttler. He won the 1st game 21-18 as he took an early lead and maintained it very well. Even though he slipped a little in the 2nd half of the game, Srikanth managed to keep his composure and win the 1st game.
Popov managed a good comeback in the 2nd game as he defeated the Indian ace 15-21 to tie the match.
All the 3 games saw just 1 game point and Srikanth made sure that he won the match in the last game as he defeated Popov 21-16.
Kidambi Srikanth had a memorable run in the Hylo Open, reaching the semi-final of the tournament. The Indian ace lost to Lee Zil Zia in the last four, missing out on a chance on a title, but will be aiming to be back at his best during the Indonesia Masters.
