Indian Super Cup 2023: Indian Football: The primary club knockout football competition in Indian Super Cup will see its third iteration in 2023. The Super Cup is the official name of the competition, which is sponsored by Hero MotoCorp. In the state of Kerala, three cities—Kochi, Kozhikode, and the state capital Thiruvananthapuram—were carefully and fairly chosen by the AIFF to host the Hero Super Cup. Indian Super Cup 2023: 3rd edition of Indian Super Cup set to commence from April, Check Preview, Format, Fixtures – Follow Super Cup 2023 LIVE

The competition will include 16 elite clubs from across the country.
All clubs will be divided into four groups of four clubs each, with the group winners moving on to the semifinals.
The event’s group stage structure is being used for the first time, which eliminates the prior pre-quarter finals format.
The champions of the second division I-League and all 11 clubs from the top division Indian Super League will advance directly to the group round.
The four remaining Group Stage slots will be decided in the Qualifying Rounds between the teams that finished second through tenth in the Hero I-League.
The ninth and tenth-placed Hero I-League clubs will compete against one another in Qualifier 1, with the victor going on to play the second-placed team in Qualifier 2.
Teams from the Hero I-League who finished third to eighth will play each other in a knockout format for the Qualifiers in addition to the aforementioned fixtures.

In the Group Stage of the Hero Super Cup, the four Hero I-League teams that advance from the Qualifiers will join the 11 Hero ISL teams and the I-League champions. The 16 teams will be split into four groups with the same number of teams each, and they will compete one round robin style. The top four finishers in each group will advance to the semifinals

The group round will take place from April 8 to April 19, while the semifinals will take place on April 21 and 22. On April 25, 2022–2023, the Hero Super Cup Final will occur. Gokulam Kerala FC, champions of the 2021–2022, Hero I–League, will face the Hero Super Cup winners for a spot in the 2023–24 AFC Cup group stage. Gokulam Kerala FC will automatically qualify for the 2023-24 AFC Cup Group Stage if they win the 2022–23 Hero Super Cup.
