Game 1: Nehwal wins 22-20 Saina Nehwal won the opening set 22-20 against her Czech opponent in a mouthwatering clash. The two players took on each other toe-to-toe but Nehwal held her cool to clinch the first set in the dying moments of the game. Nehwal will hope to redeem herself and showcase her peak form. She has really struggled with injuries and had s stopgap last 12 months, even missing the Indian Open last year. The game will be a test of Saina’s ability to deal with pressure and regain both form and fitness with time on the court.
