Annu Rani Javelin FINAL Standing – Indian Finishes in 7TH place
Gold at last for Miller-Uibo in 400 M Women
After taking silver in 2015, finishing fourth in 2017 and another silver in 2019, Shaunae Miller-Uibo finally wins her first outdoor world title.
The double Olympic champion judged her race to perfection to take gold in a world-leading 49.11. As was the case in Tokyo last year, Marileidy Paulino finished runner-up to the Bahamian, clocking 49.60.
In third, Sada Williams becomes the first woman from Barbados to win a World Championships medal, taking bronze in a national record of 49.75.

Men’s 400m final: Michael Norman conquers demons: After missing the final in 2019 and finishing outside of the medals at last year’s Olympics, Michael Norman finally lands his first global 400m title. The US champion won in 44.29.
