1) RAIN
As India look forward to registering their maiden victory at SuperSport Park, the weather could play a spoilsport on the fifth & final day of the Test match. According to the weather forecast, RAIN is predicted at Centurion from 5 AM to 8 AM in the morning & at 5 PM. India requires just 6 wickets to win the game as the home team is still 211 runs short of the target of 305. With rain threat looming on the game, CSA needs to ensure the entire ground is under the covers to prevent wet outfield ahead of kickoff on Day 5.
2) Captain Dean Elgar
Dean Elgar has stood tall against India in the fourth & final innings. He has already faced 122 deliveries for his half-century. Now, he will look to continue his innings as he eyes to play throughout the day. Jasprit Bumrah had got him caught behind the wicket on Day 1 but the situation is unlikely on Day 5 wicket. South Africa wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock and another experienced campaigner Temba Bavuma will also be the key to South Africa’s defence. de Kock is a veteran of 53 Tests and he has faced 4500+ balls in his career while Bavuma has also faced 4200+ balls in 44 Tests. They need to play the longest innings of their career in order to ensure, SA escapes loss.
