Babar Azam vs Rohit Sharma

Both Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma have enjoyed their stellar success in the recent times and have led the team from front. While Babar Azam has enjoyed slightly more success than Rohit in the last 10 innings, it is the Indian skipper that makes bold reading.

Rohit has scored 224 runs in his last 10 innings compared to Babar’s 354, which ranks the Pakistan skipper above the Indian skipper. However it is the Indian skipper’s scoring rate that makes him a better player as he has a strike rate of 140 compared to Babar’s 127.

Rohit Sharma in last 10 T20Is

The Indian skipper has been stunning to watch at times, but has missed out on great starts during the West Indies and England tour. In 10 matches he has scored only one fifty and averaged a little over 24 with a best score of 64 against West Indies.

Although he has looked calm and composed, his record needs to improve to help India clinch the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. Rohit also struggled in the Indian Premier League (IPL) but his match-winning ability makes him a better and could bolster India ahead of the Asia Cup.

Interestingly, Babar scored three more fifties than Indian skipper as he has four compared to Rohit’s one.
