Shaheen has caused trouble to a lot of right-hand batters in the past due to awkward angel. The left-arm pacer right from the word go bowled very fast. In his first spell he bowled overall 12 deliveries, gave away 4 runs and picked 2 wickets. In the second spell, Shaheen could not be at his meancing best as Afghan batters scored 25 runs of two overs. Nonetheless, the damage had already done in the power play. The left-arm pacer finished his four over spell giving away 29 runs and picking up two wickets.

- Afghanistan batters did not have any answers to Shaheen’s in-swinging deliveries. He was sending thunderbolts at a speed of 145kmph.
- The talismanic pacer also bowled Yorkers at will and dismissed both Afghanistan openers. In two overs he was at his miserly best giving away just four runs.
- In the T20 World Cup in 2021, Shaheen sent back Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul with the same deliveries.
- With such a fast and furious spell against Afghanistan, Pakistan’s lead pacer has dismissed talks of being rusty after a knee injury.
- India batters need to find answers to tackle Shaheen, especially the openers. If he repeats the same dose of T20 World Cup 2021, then it would be difficult for Rohit Sharma and Co.
