Both Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja took the crease a total of three times in the game. In a bid to get more batting practice both Jadeja and Iyer came to bat twice in the second innings. India will take on England in the fifth and the final test at Edgbaston. India’s middle-order is still uncertain and thus the team management opted to give the duo the much-needed batting practice.
Jadeja was first dismissed for a duck in the second innings. He was dismissed by Saini while Iyer was run out after scoring a comfortable 30. However, the second time was much different that the previous occasion.
