India Squad U19 Women WC: Shafali Verma will lead the India squad for inaugural U19 World Cup in SouthAfrica. India are in Group D alongside SouthAfrica, UAE and Scotland. However, before that, India will face SA U19 in a four-match series beginning December 27. Shafali will also lead the same team. The maiden edition of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup featuring 16 teams will take place in South Africa from 14 to 29 January, 2023. India is placed in Group D alongside South Africa, UAE and Scotland. The top three teams from each group will progress to the Super Six round. In Super 6, teams will be pooled into two groups of six.
